Climbing Mount Pico in the Azores, Immerse Yourself with Nature

We will be climbing Pico mountain which is the highest mountain in Portugal (2351m - 7713 feet). Climbing mountains for me is an experience that is hard to describe in words. If you share the same passion for mountains and nature and for beautiful unspoiled surroundings as I do, I am sure you will fully enjoy this unique experience. Join your local guide and let's conquer Pico Volcano because once we get there the feeling is incredibly good! After registration at Casa da Montanha, we will be starting the climb at 1200 m. At the start of the hike, we are surrounded by endemic green lush vegetation. Gradually the landscape will change and you enter an entirely different world. Views will become breathtaking. If the weather is clear, it is possible to see all the islands of the central group. And even if it is clouded, it is still an experience of a life time. After a lunch in the crater, we will start the descend back to Casa da Montanha.
