Obidos, Nazaré and Family Winery

I will take you on a guided tour of Óbidos, a medieval treasure with cobblestone streets, vibrant blooms, and a charmingly preserved castle wall. We will go to the St. Michael Fort, at Nazaré, the place commonly seen on the images of the giant waves. Please note that giant waves are a rare event and might not be in season. I will tell you some highlights and give time to explore uptown Sítio da Nazaré, where you can visit the Miracle Chapel and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré. Pause for lunch or a snack at downtown Nazaré, a beautiful beach town where in the past the traditional fishermen could be seen at the beach. Check the boat and dry fish museums. We'll visit a quaint, family-owned winery, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of the region. Here, you'll experience a personalized wine tasting, where each sip tells a story of tradition and terroir.
