An experience to get to know the origins and foundations of this European Capital. Lisbon's oldest neighborhoods have a lot of history, stories and traditions that must be shared with the visitors. A big old labyrinth made of small streets, staircases and viewpoints worth to explore to understand the past and the identity of Lisbon. You will able to see the oldest fountains of Lisbon, parts of the ancient defensive walls, buildings that resisted the huge 1755 earthquake, the areas that were the birth of the Fado Music and much more. Note: This tour it's only possible to do walking due the small streets and stairs that we find all over this part of the city. I recommend to wear comfortable shoes.
I will share with You some of my favourite traditions, locations and viewpoints. From Mouraria, up to the Castle area we will see some of the oldest and narrowest streets of Lisbon and great perspectives of the maze made of little street that will take us through Alfama until the Tejo river. Note: Visit/Tickets to the Castle are not included. If You would like to visit the Castle of S. Jorge on your own I can adjust the tour to finish at the Castle entrance.
