Sagres & Lagos, Ponta da Piedade Half Day Tour

In this tour we will visit the city of Lagos, where I live. One of the oldest in the region. The small streets of the historic center are full of life, ideal place for a strolling around. The church of Santa Maria faces the statue of Prince Henry The Navigator and across the square we can also visit the ancient slave market. We will visit Ponta da Piedade, the place with the famous grottoes and amazing cliffs. We will enjoy an amazing view there and learn about the history behind this places. We will visit Sagres, a historic village where Prince Henry the Navigator built it the Navigation School in the XV Century. Stunning views, huge cliffs. After the Fortress we will visit Cape Saint Vincent, the most southwestern point in Europe. This is a mythical place, was called The End of The World until XV century, before the Portuguese started the Discoveries. Don't miss seeing the lighthouse and the breathtaking views from the top of the Cliffs!
