On this 3 hour narrated walking tour you will explore some of the oldest quarters of the city of Lisbon. Namely, Alfama, Lisbon's most ancient quarter, and Graça, a community rich with working class history. First I will take you to explore the Graça neighborhood which features fine examples of urban art by artists from around the world and some of the best views of the city of Lisbon, like the Miradouro da Graça and Nossa Senhora do Monte. Afterwards we will visit Alfama. Famous for its narrow maze-like streets and stairs, Alfama is home to a proud tight-knit community that has lived in the area for centuries and whose passion is for Fado music and the centuries old traditions that honor Saint Anthony. Here we will immerse ourselves in the neighborhood's day to to day life and navigate the medieval streets until we reach the Sé Cathedral, Lisbon's oldest church.
