Hello Travelers! My name is Piotr. I was born in Lodz, I studied Tourism and Hotel Management at the University of Lodz. Now I work in tourism and business services sector in my home city. For over 20 years I've guided dozens of groups from different parts of the world explaining the phenomenon of Lodz. I am also the author of the book-guide for so called Green Circle of Tradition and Culture in Lodz. I am especially interested in architecture, music, vocal art and sports (cycling, skiing and swimming). I became a licensed city guide in 2006 (licence number 21/2006). I speak English and learnt Spanish as well. I also offer tailor-made tours round Lodz, always trying to meet the tourist's expectations. Lodz provides a wide range of possibilities for architecture and art passionate, but also for people simply looking for entertainment. For me private tours are the most inspiring source of travelling experience as I have the chance to learn your stories. I am a graduate of the University of Lodz - Geography of Tourism and Hotel Management Marketing and Management - Postgraduate studies Licensed tour leader and guide for Łódź - licence number 21/2006 Author of a guidebook for "Green Circle of Tradition and Culture in Łódź"

The tour is an ideal suggestion for those, who are planning to see the city for the first time. During this 6 hour trip you will visit the most popular places in the city: monumental factories, decorative palaces of great entrepreneurs and one of the most famous streets in Poland - Piotrkowska. You will learn why Łódź is also called: Polish Manchester, Hollyłódź and the most American city in Poland. Discover this off-trail city before it becomes popular.
During your trip I propose to see: "Manufaktura" center - the well-known cultural and commercial center in Poland, located in the recently renewed factory of Israel Poznański. We can combine it with visiting Museum of the Factory. Poznański's Palace - also called "small Louvre Old Town - the oldest part of Łódź with former Jewish district and so called Herring Park. During WW II was a substantial part of Litzmannstadt Getto. Piotrkowska Street - the most famous street of Łódź with breathtaking architecture, cafes, and monuments, icluding "Rose's Passage" Priest's Mill - a part of the biggest cotton factory in Europe, before 1939, with unique post-industrial architecture. and other places. Please note, that the tour has a flexible itinerary and may be customized upon request. Visits to the museums need to be confirmed.

It is mostly a walking tour combined with public tram ride to Księży Młyn. I can arrange taxi instead.
