When I think: "Krakow", I always see the Royal Route with the most beautiful monuments of the historical city. I've done that tour hundreds times and each time has never been the same. Krakow is like cameleon :-) going there and back You see many faces of Krakow, You feel it in many ways and always find something special. For this reason, the travellers often come back to Krakow several times. I'm proud and happy to be the part of its success and fame. The Old Town Tour gives You unforgettable experience of 1000 years of history, architecture, education, religion and people who made this town flourishing and developing as the center of the European trade, craft and the royal power. Feel like king or queen or both :-) and have a nice, slow walk from the city gates to the royal castle. It's a perfect tour for the Kraków beginners! Notice: If You'd like me to change itinerary, You dream to see something else, please let me know. We can co-operate to make Your day in Kraków unforgettable and very Yours.
More than three hours or two kilometres are perfect to see: - medieval fortifications: Barbican, defence walls and Florian's Gate - the largest ever Main Market Square with St. Mary's Basilica, the Cloth Hall, St. Adalbert's Church, the City Hall Tower and thousands of pigeons :-) - the University District to feel like students of the oldest Alma Mater in Poland - my favourite longest municipal park - "green necklace" of Kraków - the Pope's Window at the Bishop's Palace and Papa's favourite St. Francis' Church - baroque church of Saints Peter and Paul and romanesque St. Andrew's Church as neighbors - the oldest Kanonicza Street with medieval townhouses still remembering their first owners - Wawel Royal Castle with its renaissance, breathtaking courtyard - the Cathedral, royal tombs and. . . the Sigismund's Tower. . . to make a wish and touch the clapper of the heaviest bell ever! The tour ends on the Wawel Hill. Now it's time for coffee at the summer cafe garden with a beautiful view to Kosciuszko's Mound.
