Asian Flavors of Lima Shore Excursion

The capital of Peru is a melting pot, people and cultures from all over the world. The Asian heritage is a relevant part of the local culture and, of course, of the local cuisine. During this tour we will discover the flavors of the Japanese and Chinese Peruvian food, we will learn as well about the history of the communities and their influence in the development of the Peruvian society. The tour includes a visit to the residencial zone of San Felipe where a significant amount of japanese descendants are living, on this neghborhood we will visit the museum of the japanese inmigration and we will try some bites of the peruvian japanese kitchen known as Nikkei food. After that we will continue in direction to the historic center of the city to visit the local China Town where we will learn about the mixing of chinese and peruvian culture trying the flavors of a local Chifa, the typical chinese peruvian restaurant. After that we will return to the hotel or the place of your preference.
