Bayano Canyoning

Home to an amazing variety of wildlife, including rarely-seen bird species, Lake Bayano is one of Panama's most fantastic treasures, but it is also one of Panama's least known areas: eastern Panama province. Despite being only an hour and a half's drive from Panama City, the great majority of Panamanians are as unfamiliar with Lake Bayano's beauty Lake Bayano supplies Panama City and other areas with electricity. But one of its highligths are the caves, with mostly wide areas has a combination of dark and clear areas. The Bayano caves were formed over time by an underground river that still flows today. The caves can be enjoyed almost year-round depending on the height of the river. It's important to mention that we use only local motorized dugouts or plastic fiber canoes, to support locals and the conservation of the area.
