I offer you a different experience for those looking to disconnect with urban noise & reconnect with nature. Embark into an amazing journey where we'll get on a wooden boat & sail across a waterfall lake in order to reach the Embera tribe, an indigenous community with whom we'll closely engage. They're a very friendly tribe that often partakes in special celebrations. They will have prepared a traditional lunch for us, with locals fruits such as Banana, Watermelon, Pineapple & Melon as desert. We'll learn of the Embera's culture & traditions, and if you dare, even join them in their dances! Also, I suggest you bring your swimsuit! When there are normal water levels, it takes around half an hour to reach the waterfalls on a boat, but when the water is low, we could even go on a 20 min walk to reach them! And if you don't want to swim, don't worry; you can still enjoy the experience by keeping an eye out for the local fauna such as sloths & monkeys! Enjoying life is connecting with nature. Let's do it!
•Our tour will start with a morning pickup after which we'll depart to the Corotú Port located at Alajuela Lake, which we'd reach in approximately 45 minutes. •On arrival, we'll be welcome by the tribe's transporters, who will help us to get in a wooden boat made by the people of Embera. •We'll then go on a scenic boat ride through the waters of the lake until we reach a waterfall. •Once we do, you'll be able to enjoy a nice swim in refreshing natural water springs. •Afterwards, we'll visit the village where we'll deluge in a traditional lunch around the Embera locals who'll showcase their dancing. •After around 2 hours in the village, we'll finally say goodbye to the locals and take the boat back to the port. •We'll then drive from Corotú again to Panama City where you'll be dropped off for the end of the tour.
