Oslo City Center & The Vigeland Sculpture Park

We start with a walk in the city center, just a short walk from the Cruise Port. The first part of the tour will include outside visits to Fortress of Akershus, the City Hall, The Parliament, Royal Palace, and several other buildings of interest, and a walk along the main street Karl Johan, a place both vibrant and filled with traditions. After this we either walk through some spectacular neighborhoods from the 19th Century to the Vigeland Park (a walk of some 30 minutes), or we board the city tram to take us to the park in a swifter manner. (NOTE: The fare will add a small amount to the tour). We then take a closer look at this magnificent Sculpture Garden, with 212 individual sculptures formed together as one single piece of art expressing the Cycle of Life. After spending an hour or so in the park, we take then the city tram back almost to the Cruise Port (or city center, which is just about the same thing, really). If you want to make sure to have enough time in the Vigeland Park, we reverse the tour.
