Enjoy a leisurely walk in the city centre of Oslo, get a feel for the city and discover the Norwegian culture and history. This classic walking tour will take you to the most important places of the city centre of the Norwegian capital: from the Oslo of the 21st century around the new Opera House to the old Christiania city of the 17th century, passing the Akershus fortress, walking up the main street to the royal Palace and visiting the city hall, where the Nobel Peace prize is awarded every year. In addition, I will, during the walk, give you an insight into Norwegian history and culture, political and social system and explain to you how we live in Norway.
This 3 hours walking tour includes the following: (the order may vary) - Oslo's new Opera House - The seaside promenade - The Akershus fortress - The old city of Christiana - The city Hall (venue of the Nobel Peace Prize) (entrance if possible) - Oslo's main street (from the Royal Palace to the Parliament) (including the National Theater, the old university and the Grand hotel)
