Driving north from Wellington City, you will get a taste of the coastal and rural heart of NZ. In the morning - check out the dramatic open spaces of the Kāpiti Coast & the classic Kiwi driving experience of the Paekākāriki Hill Road or feel the quiet calm of native bush at the Kaitoke Regional Park (where Lord of the Rings fans may spot a few elves heading home). In the afternoon - Visit your must do city attractions eg the cable car, Mt Victoria Lookout or Wētā Cave (for a photo shoot with the trolls). There is no such thing as too many questions, nor too much laughter. We will talk about all sorts of things & get to know each other. By the end of the day, you will have a good sense of life in Wellington. Passionate about food and drink? Me too. There are heaps of opportunities to try local foods and drink throughout the day, and chocolate (a category of its own). Got 5 or more people? Get in touch. I’ll design a tour for you.

The start time is flexible & adjusted to fit your schedule. Itinerary options: • Pick up & drop off at the Port, your accommodation or the airport. • Dip your toe in the water at a spectacular Kāpiti Coast beach. • Revisit your youth at Southwards Car Museum. • Or spot an elf in the rainforest at Kaitoke Regional Park (Rivendell). • See the city from Mt Victoria and/or the Wind Turbine. • Ride the Cable Car. • Drive the rugged South Coast. • Meet the trolls at the Wētā Cave. • Taste boutique food, coffee and drink delights. • Light refreshments and the activities listed included. VW Transporter T7 Hybrid 2023 - perfect for up to 5 guests. Ford Tourneo 2020 - perfect for up to 6-7 guests. If you have a larger group, I will hire a vehicle that is suits your needs. If you have any mobility issues, please let me know. There is room for your walker or wheelchair in the boot. NB: you will need to be able to go up two steps to get into the van.
