This is a full-day tour traveling around the Wakatipu Basin from Queenstown including all of the scenic highlights of our region and then traveling over the Crown Range to Wanaka. You will immediately be amazed by the diversity of this region, the mountains dramatically surrounding the lakes. You will have time to take a walk around the charming gold mining village of Arrowtown, historic buildings, early miners' cottages, check out gift shops, & art galleries or discover LOTR movie locations. This is a photographer's delight especially in the Autumn months late March - April. We then travel through the Kawarau Gorge to Bannockburn for lunch at a vineyard & learn more about the local Pinot Noir wines. After lunch, we travel to Wanaka to discover this Kiwi alpine village gem, before returning via the Cardrona Valley and Crown Range back to Queenstown.
