As a preparation of the tour I can do some research on your ancestry, if provided with sufficient information. I will provide you with a nice insight in history and culture, language, landscape and present day life in Friesland.
Leeuwarden is a good starting point but other starting points are possible, like Heerenveen, Sneek, Drachten or even Groningen.
