If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, consider taking a private tour to both Giethoorn and the Hanseatic town of Kampen. Located in the northern region of the Netherlands, Giethoorn is a small, charming village known for its picturesque canals, thatched-roof houses, and stunning natural landscapes. During this tour, you’ll explore Giethoorn’s beautiful waterways by boat, soak in the tranquil atmosphere, and learn about its history and culture. Strolling through the village, you’ll also visit local cafés, and shops, discovering the hidden gems of this quaint village. Afterward, we’ll visit Kampen, a historically significant Hanseatic town, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and rich maritime history. You’ll walk through its old streets, explore its iconic gates and churches, and gain insight into the town’s important role in Dutch trade during the Hanseatic period.
We will begin our adventure by picking you up from your hotel, and from there, embark on a scenic journey through the province of Flevoland to the picturesque village of Giethoorn in the northern Netherlands. Once we arrive, we'll board a canal boat and take a leisurely cruise through this charming water village, known for its peat diggers and unique fenland. Along the way, we'll pass through straight canals, ditches, marsh forests, quaking bogs, and reed lands, taking in the stunning views of countryside houses with thatched roofs. During our excursion, you can also enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local cafés, savoring the flavors of the region. On the way back to Amsterdam, we will visit the Hanseatic town of Kampen, a historical gem known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and rich maritime heritage. You’ll walk through its old streets, explore its iconic gates and churches, and gain insight into the town’s important role in Dutch trade during the Hanseatic period.

Until the end of this year, I will be using my Mitsubishi Grandis, a spacious, air-conditioned minivan that comfortably seats six passengers. While it provides ample room, please note that accessing the two seats in the third row may be challenging for elderly individuals or those with mobility issues. The ideal seating arrangement is one passenger in the front, two in the middle row, and one in the back row for maximum comfort. Starting in March next year, I will be upgrading to a brand-new Lynk & Co, offering an even more modern and comfortable ride for all your tours, ensuring the best possible experience for my passengers.
