Full day Countryside, Windmills, Cheese and Tulips, Spring 2025

In the spring millions of flowers are in bloom in Holland. We will drive trough the bulb fields and visit the best spring attraction of Holland : Flowerpark Keukenhof, where 7 million bulbs are planted each year. After my introduction in the historic garden you can marvel unaccompanied at the millions of flowers. Take your camera! We will continue to the Schermerhorn windmills that have been pumping for hundreds of years in the typical countryside North of Amsterdam We'll see how we keep our feet dry in a country which lies for 30% below sea level. We'll have lunch in picturesque old whalers town De Rijp and continue through the Beemster polder (reclaimed in 1612, 15ft below sealevel) to cheese town Edam with its public weight and taste the different variations of cheese. Before our journey back to Amsterdam we'll stroll trough this beautiful town, nicknamed "The Pearl of the South Sea".
