San Miguel de Allende & Canada de la Virgen archaeological site

We start the day going to the archaeological site of Canada de la Virgen to see the pyramids built around 1, 500 years ago by the natives. When we get there, a bus will take us to the site, then we have to walk 1 kilometer (3, 300 feet) to see the pyramids. This is a place with a very special energy, in the country area of San Miguel. When I knew this pyramids I felt a strong connection with it, and is one of my favourites to visit. We will be a bit more than one hour exploring the site, then we walk back to the bus that we will take us back. Coming back to San Miguel we'll have lunch and will be ready to explore San Miguel and see the highlights of the town, such as the parish church of San Miguel, the former convent of La Concepcion, the area where the town was founded in the 16th century, and the artisans market. Afer this tour you'll have a good idea of the history, culture and traditions of San Miguel.
