As we journey through Cobá, I’ll share captivating stories about the Mayan civilization and their incredible achievements in building this remarkable place. Next, we’ll visit an authentic Mayan community, where a local shaman, or Ah-men, will perform a traditional Mayan ceremony, sharing their rich culture and granting us permission to swim in a sacred cenote with crystal-clear waters. To end the day, enjoy a delicious homemade lunch prepared by a Mayan family I’ve known for years.
