The fertile land in the central-western area of the country has the best soil composition of minerals with a great rainy season in the summertime in order to get the best quality of avocados to export. To the present day, most of Canadian & US people enjoy having fresh Mexican #Avocados at home.
After leaving #Morelia (departs from Patzcuaro upon request), the tour goes up to the volcanic mountains to find the avocado orchards driving downhill. Thanks to our friends in #Uruapan, it's possible to walk in a real #Hass avocado plantation to learn about species, production, quality & export of this American fruit. After this last, the #Guacamole cooking class will start lead by local Chefs, inviting us to stay for lunchtime. To complete the experience of a green day; let's continue to the famous National Park (1934) to walk in the lush vegetation with fruit trees and flowers next to fountains, waterfalls & springwater by the riverside.
