Visiting San Miguel de Allende is definitely a must-do experience in Mexico, but most first-time travelers often miss out on other interesting places like Queretaro City and its vineyards. I've been lucky to explore this part of Mexico because my parents used to take me there on vacations when I was a kid, and years later, I developed a taste for colonial history and the culture of wine and cheese. On this journey, we'll discover Queretaro's historic downtown (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and taste the local wine from the Guanajuato region, guided by a knowledgeable sommelier.
