Full Day Mayan Ruins and Lazy River Floating

This tour takes place inside a really important wetland, and a world heritage site recognized by the UNESCO; the Sian Ka'an biosphere.

This territory is of an amazing diversity and home of multiple flora and fauna. We will visit a unique and no crowded mayan ruin, which was an active trade city along the former mayan trade routes.

We will visit the ruins, and hike through nature, visit a watchtower and enjoy peace and silence nature has to offer. We will eat a picnic next to one of the lagoons, and after lunch we do the lazy river floating, for some 35 minutes.

We will leave early to take advantage of the morning. After a 2 hour drive through several mayan villages, we reach the mayan comunnity of Tres Reyes, where we will learn a little about ancestral medicine and fauna and flora.

After a short explanation regarding your mayan totem, instructions of the sweatlodge, we start the ceremony!
Sweatlodge is called Temazcal here in Mexico. It is like a sauna but in a ritual way, where toxins are been sweated out and one's own energy is revitalized.

It's a powerful tool for you to heal, get rid of anything you are willing to let go. Also you will get to try the heartmedicine: cacao. Cacao contains important benefits for your health.

After the ceremony, you will get to try some of the traditional mayan dishes, cooked by a mayan woman from the community, like this you are supporting the local economy. There are vegetarian options.
