The Best of Malta - Half Day Tour

From Valletta Port terminal we drive to the south of Malta. 1. Hagar-Qim Megalithic Temples- one of the oldest freestanding monuments in the world dating back to 3300 BC. It was a place of worship to the Goddess of Fertility, whose numerous statuettes have been found on the site during the excavations. 2. Our next stop is the Medieval capital Mdina. We walk through the narrow streets of the old city to the bastions for a panoramic view of the island. 3. Back to the Harbour area to Valletta. We start our walking tour from the Upper Barakka Gardens with a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour. Then we proceed through the historical part of the city to the St. John's Co-Cathedral and visit this jewel of Baroque art, where two masterpieces of Great Italian artist Caravaggio are kept.
