Medieval Malta and a taste for pastizzi

We start with the visit of the Rotunda Church in Mosta. This is a unique building in Malta because of its design and size, and it has one of the biggest unsupported domes in the world. This dome was pierced by a bomb during WWII, but suffered little damage. You will have the opportunity to see a replica of the bomb that fell on the building. After some time for photos we continue our day towards the old capital city Mdina, the silent city. Walking around town through narrow and winding streets will transport you way back to Medieval times. Mdina is the city where some scenes of Games of Throne were shot. Coming out we find the suburb of Mdina, Rabat where we'll walk into the historic center. And to finish our tour the visit to the local pastizzerja where you have the opportunity to taste local delicacies and a refreshing local drink. From here we make our way back to your accommodation or ship.
