This tour will take you around the island of Malta, where we will not only visit the Capital City Valletta, but also the Silent City of Mdina, visit Hagar Qim megalithic temples, and the south of the island.

Starting off from the capital city Valletta, we will stroll the streets, admiring churches, squares and palaces, with a recommended entrance of St. John's Cathedral before proceeding towards Mdina, the little gem where various movies where shot. A small walk within the city and optional pastizzi tasting (local speciality) will bring our morning to an end.
We will then continue our visit to Hagar Qim Temples, Unesco site, that testifies Malta's prehistoric past and Marsaxlokk, an idyllic fishing village where you will have free time to indulge in a delicious fish lunch or enjoy the small souvenir market along the quay.

This tour is perfect for those that have just arrived in Malta and the first nights are staying in Mdina or Rabat in one of the hotels or especially in a short let accommodation. After a short drive, we will stop by the walls of the ancient Mdina, the old capital city of the Maltese archipelago. Since the 9th century, B. C. this has been the place to settle for many important civilizations. It was during the Arab period the city got its name, in medieval times when the city reached its peak importance.

Walking around the narrow streets, we can admire the imposing houses of the old nobility of Malta. Then, we will visit Valletta, UNESCO world heritage city, capital of culture for Europe in 2018. This is a major example of military engineering of the 16th century. Built on a peninsula by the Knights of St John, Valletta is almost surrounded by the sea and the views of the Grand Harbor are the most impressive on the whole island.

Considered one of Malta's most famous attractions, the beautiful Blue Grotto is an extremely unique natural phenomenon.

Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests.

You may board your boat and travel along the rocky coastline to the massive arch which marks the entrance to the Blue Grotto. Here you will see six caves carved by years of relentless pounding by the sea, of which the Blue Grotto is the largest and most impressive.

You may also visit the prehistoric temples of Malta which are unique in all the world. They are the oldest standing stone structures which remain to us from ancient times. They are older than Stonehenge and older than the Pyramids. Because of their uniqueness and beauty, these temples are deservedly designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the marketplace at the typical fishing village of Marsaxlokk or drive to the beautiful 'Ghar Lapsi' bay for swimming (Summer only).

This tours stands to bring to life the ordeal which the brave people of Malta and their defenders have endured during the dark days of the Malta Blitz (1940-43) in the Second World War. This walking tour starts from the entrance of Valletta (unless otherwise requested) and proceeds towards the War Rooms and finishes at Fort St Elmo (the National War Museum).

The highlight of this tour is the visit to the 'ultra secret' complex of underground tunnels and chambers from where the British forces took care of the defence of Malta and where in July 1943, General Eisenhower and his Supreme Commanders Admiral Cunningham, Field Marshal Montgomery and Air Marshal Tedder coordinated the famous Operation Husky - the Invasion of Sicily.

We will meet just by the chapel at Dingli Cliffs and walk all the way down to the Blue grotto.
