Kernavė is often called the paradise of archaeologists. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004. During the tour, we will visit the Archaeological Museum (if open) and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the site where the ancient capital of Lithuania once stood. Today, Kernavė is an archaeological site protected as a UNESCO heritage site. A fragment of the medieval wooden town has been reconstructed and is known as Skansen. The picturesque Neris River and the hills, which once housed fortifications, make this site a favorite destination for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
