Interior of Riga Synagogue (Peitav Shul, פאייטאוו שול ) was carefully renovated after Perestroyka time.

Built in 1904 this is only working Synagogue in Riga. Survived the Holocaust and to be currently active. It is a center of the Latvian Jewish community and recognized by the Latvian government as an architectural monument of national significance.

Riga Ghetto Museum is located in the historic area bordering the former ghetto. More than 70,000 names of Holocaust victims and a photo exhibition, focusing on anti-Semitic propaganda, the Holocaust in Latvia, the resistance movement and those who provided safe haven, are set on a piece of land, covered by cobblestone taken from the streets of the former ghetto.

There was several nobile Jewish people born and lived in Riga. One of them Sir Isaiah Berlin (1909-1997) was born in this house on Alberta Street.

Rumbula Memorial based on a design project by architect Sergejs Rižs, the memorial ensemble was opened on 29 November 2002. The ensemble was funded by donations from Latvian, Israel, USA, and German institutions and organisations, and private persons. On the way to the memorial aside the road, you can see a metal construction symbolising the Nazis. Next to the road there is a stone explaining that this was the road to death for thousands of Jews.
