Asakusa is one of the iconic spots in Tokyo, which is favored by many travelers from inside and outside Japan. It offers a variety of attractions that would remind you of old-time Tokyo (Edo). While you only have a limited time to explore in other tours, my tour will give you an abundant time to spend so that you could fully appreciate the ambience of the town. I will also take you to the famous Kitchen Tool Street Kappabashi, where you will find a wide variety of kitchen utensils for professional use. One of the highlights you enjoy there will be plastic food samples, which look surprisingly real. If interested, you can also buy a knife there and have it personalized with your name engraved on. This will be a tour which contains about 4 km of walking.
Itinerary: • 9:00am meet in front of Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center opposite Kaminarimon Thunder Gate • Visit observation deck to enjoy the panorama of Asakusa • Walk through Thunder Gate and Nakamise Shopping Street and visit Sensoji Temple • Walk to Kappabashi Kitchen Tool Street • Explore Kappabashi that sells tableware, kitchenware, knives, chopsticks, plastic food samples and many more • 12:00pm Arrive at Tawaramachi Station, Ginza Line (G18), end of tour
