Japanese Garden, Tea Ceremony tour in Tokyo

In this tour, I take you to my favorite Japanese Garden; Koishikawa Korakuen created in 1629. The garden represents 4 different elements, river, mountain, countryside, the ocean. You will enjoy beautiful different scenery as you walk around the central pond. The garden has been designated as the Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Special Historic Site of the country by the Cultural Asset. After that, we move to the place for tea ceremony. Tea master prepares tea by highly stylized manner called 'Temae'. You have Japanese sweet and tea in a very settled atmosphere and learn the spirit of Japanese culture & philosophy influenced by Zen. Viewing tea utensils is one of this enjoyment in tea ceremony. They are coordinated to suit the theme or season.
