Visit Fujinomiya, about 1 hour drive from Shimizu Port. Short walk around pretty Shiraito Falls, fed by Fuji snow melt tumbling over an ancient lava flow. Lunch at a cafe in Fujinomiya township. After lunch tour the internationally famous Japanese architect Ban Shigeru designed Fuji World Heritage Center, and Fuji Hongu Sengen Shrine, part of the Mt Fuji World Heritage Area.
After docking, meet dockside Shimizu port, drive to Shiraito Falls, back to Fujinomiya, lunch at cafe in town, after lunch visit Fuji World Heritage Center and Fuji Hongu Sengen Shrine, drive back to Shimizu Port late afternoon.
