Kawagoe, a city in Saitama Prefecture, also called the "Little Edo", because it resembles old Tokyo during the Edo period (1603-1868). From Ikebukuro station we will go together to Kawagoe. First, we will visit "Kurazukuri Street", with its traditional warehouses, now modern shops and restaurants. The most iconic site is "Toki no Kane", the bell tower, and the Yakushi Shrine. We will also visit Kawagoe Matsuri Kaikan (a museum about Kawagoe Festival), Yukizuka Inari Shrine and Renkeiji Temple. Lunch in one of the multiple restaurants of the city. After the break, we will visit Kawagoe Kita-in temple. End of the tour in Kawagoe station.
