On this tour, you can enjoy the unique history of Hokkaido and its culture from the Paleolithic age to the modern period. Hokkaido Museum houses a lot of special exhibits including the fossil of Manmoss, stone tools, potteries, Ainu people's everyday utensils, dried marine products, and so on. In the historical Village, you can see many unique buildings that were once really used and moved here. The village includes the former Sapporo station,the former Hokkaido Government building, several kinds of shops,herring fisherman's house, old schools and dorms, etc. You can feel lively how people in Hokkaido used to live and work.
