Beppe is known as a hot spring town and is very popular among tourists! You can experience unique 'Hell Tour' in Beppu, and Myoban Yunosato village is the most famous hot springs area there. The straw thatched roof houses are the landmarks in Myoban to produce hot spring powder (or crystals). The traditional techniques to extract hot spring power from the hot spring water. Yukemuri Observatory, where you can see the city view and Mt. Ogi and Tsurumi when the weather is good.
