Chianti Wine Tour - Full day tour leaving from Florence and surroundings.

I love Chianti, let's start from this. . . while in the car I will educate you a bit about the region you are about to visit, its history, culture and wines, definitely my favorite!

On the way you'll visit some small tows of the area like Greve, Montefioralle, Panzano. We will head for our first winery where you will have a chance to explore the cellars, taste the wines and discuss them with the winemaker. The wines you will typically taste are Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscan, Vin Santo.

For lunch I will suggest something small and rustic in a perfect Tuscan style! Perhaps at a winery?

In the second part of the day you'll visit another highly rated winery. Together with the previous experience you'll start to appreciate the range of aromas and flavours that Chianti Classico wines have to offer.

Should you prefer to skip a town stop I can arrange to visit a third winery. You just let me know what you would like to do and if it is at all feasible I'll plan for it.

Driving through Tuscany to the wine country called "CHIANTI" to visit my friends and their beautiful property taking in the scenery from their terrace, before we visit their cellar and then in to the tower to try some of my favorite wine.
I will take you to the Capital of CHIANTI (Greve in Chianti) to one of the best butchers in Tuscany, to see their products from game, prosciutto, cheese to antique knives before we go for more wine tasting underground. (lunch optional).
Next we visit a Castle, my favorite, it's gardens and the underground corridors and cellars. Of course you will try more of my favorite Chianti wines.
After so much wine, I will drive you back to the meeting point or your hotel.

This is a great opportunity to spend a half day (9 hours) in the famous Tuscan Countryside.
I will pick you up directly by your accommodation in Florence then we will start to drive to Siena. On the way we will make a stop in the stunning Monteriggioni Fortress for a coffee! Once in Siena, you will have time to stroll around the "Campo" and Cathedral Square. The "Campo" is a one of a kind square, like no other! After visiting Siena, we will head to the famous Medieval town of San Gimignano where its towers and architecture will capture your sight!
Later on we will drive to a local winery where you will experience an incredible wine tasting and light lunch! Once back in Florence we will stop in Michelangelo Square lookout for photos of the breathtaking view of the city.
