Two wineries - Private Tour - Valpolicella

Valpolicella is a valley, sited in an area called Lessinia, more precisely between Verona and Lake Garda, that has been adapted for wine yards since the Roman Times. At the time people called it "Vallis polis cellae", because of the many families that produced wine. Nowadays Valpolicella is famous for its wines like Amarone, Valpolicella, and Ripasso, but this is "a not to be missed" experience also for those who love the peaceful countryside and local culinary experiences. Valpolicella is not only a tourist attraction, it is still an authentic expression of our heritage. During the tour, you will have the chance to see the "Cave di Prun" (local stone quarries) and taste some special wine ( with local cheese) from a small producer. After the first stage, we will visit a bigger winery, for the second tasting. We will be back in town by 4.30 PM.
