Palladio's Villas in Vicenza and in the Venetian countryside

This tour wants to offer a panorama of the most influential architect who was born and operated in the Veneto region in the XVI c. In Vicenza, we'll admire (outside) the popular Rotonda by Andrea Palladio, whose architectural theories became famous worldwide and influenced many architects in the centuries to come, like Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and the University of Virginia. In Vicenza we are visiting another masterpiece by the same architect: Teatro Olimpico (Olympic Theatre). For lunch we suggest the charming hamlet of Asolo We'll spend the afternoon visiting two amazing villas located in the countryside: Maser and Emo.
