Fairytale lake and gingerbread bakery
A day at Lake Bled and medieval town of Radovljica on your own private tour. Making it easy to visit Slovenia's beautiful glacial lake and a cosy little gingerbread town in just one day, the trip includes round-trip transport from your hotel, a flexible itinerary, and of course, your own driver-guide. Ample free time at each site is included, giving you chance to take photos by the lake, visit a medieval castle, and stroll the old street of Gingerbread's town enchanting historical center.
Bled & Lake Bled After picking you up I will take you to one of Slovenia's top attractions - Lake Bled. During the drive you'll be able to sit back and enjoy the ride while I introduce you to the area. Take a walk around the lake. Enjoy the marvellous views of the lake from Bled castle, and from the traditional "pletna" boat, which brings you to the picturesque Bled island (with the Gothic church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary). Or you can taste the famous "Kremsnita" (vanilla cream cake). Whatever you do it will leave you speechless. The Sweetest Slovenian Town with a gingerbread bakery Have you ever gifted your beloved with a heart-shaped gingerbread? This traditional sweet treat has always been a graceful symbol of love and affection. The tradition is believed to go as far back as the 14th century, In the museum, you can see the original process of making a ginger heart and also make your "lect" from gingerbread in the workshop, but you must sign up for the tour beforehand.
