Siena and the Palio's traditions half a day tour

The tour is dedicated to the discovery of the Palio horse race: more than an event, almost a sacred ritual, as much exiting as an action movie, thrilling like rivalry in medieval jousting, compelling like only a centenary tradition could be. As a passionate member of one of the 17 Contrada (neighborhoods competing in the race), I will have the pleasure to bring you into this unique reality, I will make your way to the heart of my district, with a private visit to Contrada's Museum and Oratory. You will be shown the Victories' Hall, house of the prizes won, then the frescoed neighborhood church (Oratorio), a real architectural jewel, as tiny as it is charming: here the horse is blessed by the priest just before the race starts!
