Secret Siena Tour

Siena is one of the charmiest cities in Italy. Explore its secret sites: hidden fonts, ancient castles, noble towers, tiny squares, little known churches, tiny streets far from the crowds. We can choose to visit the Cathedral crypt discovered in the year 2000; the hospital of Santa Maria della Scala, the oldest hospital in the Western world with numerous works of art; the Baptistry with Donatello and Ghiberti works; the Cathedral Museum with statues by Giovanni Pisano, the “Maestà” by Duccio and the “Facciatone” which offers breathtaking views of the city. Reservation at the museums is not needed so we can decide prior to the tour what to visit and then buy the tickets on the day. This tour will also offer the chance to discover the many secret behind the Palio horse race by visiting one of the 17 districts museum and churches (by appointment only). If you still want to include some of the highlights such as the Cathedral, we can do a mix of orientation tour and Secret Siena tour.
