Overview of your Rome tour:

Discover masterpieces of the Vatican collections with an expert guide bringing the paintings and statues to life. As only a guide can do, you will then take a special route, which allows you to enter St. Peter's Basilicas straight from the museums. Inside the Basilica, the guide will take you to see Michelangelo's Pietà and dome as well as other major works by the baroque artist Bernini. Bernini designed the majestic colonnade of St. Peter's Square. The square makes a theatrical ending to your special Vatican tour. This exceptional tour is always a great success and regarded as "one of the best experiences in Rome". After your tour, I'll suggest the best restaurants in Vatican city for an authentic Italian lunch. Please note that on Wednesday's and Sunday's Basilica will open after 1pm.

If you are visiting the Vatican in the hotter summer months, an applicable dress code for the Vatican would be a t-shirt and bermuda shorts that at least caste a shadow on your knees. As a sign of respect most visitors wear long-sleeve shirts and a pair of long pants. If you book this tour on Sunday, we will visit St. Peter's Basilica and Castel S. Angelo instead of the Vatican Museums, which are closed on Sundays.
