Trastevere and Jewish Ghetto Walking Private Tour

We will start from Trastevere, nowday a kind of "bohemienne" district of Rome. Visit some of the early christians Rome's churches and explore the site of the city's Jewish Ghetto. The Trastevere neighborhood offers a pleasant diversion from the heavily touristed historic center of Rome. It's largely residential and characterized by narrow, cobbled streets, medieval-era structures and a large university student population. As we explore Trastevere, you'll find an impressive selection of restaurants, bars and cafés that are frequented by locals and you can visit the boutiques and studios for some unique gifts. We'll cross the Tiber river using one of the oldest bridges connecting the right bank to the left one by the Tiberina's Island and we'll soon reach the lovely district Jewish Ghetto (oldest jewish community of Europe) with the imposing "Synagogue" and the ruins of the Portico d'Ottavia.
