Rome is so glamorous for its art, monuments, churches, gardens, but for its delicious cooking too! I like to explain every kind of monument, but I am also a great fan of our typical food tradition and I love deepen this aspect of italian lifestyle! Follow me on this amazing experience to enjoy art and food together! On this tour you will visit the Jewish Ghetto with its monuments, like the ancient roman Theater of Marcellus, and you will discover its traditional dishes, especially the Pizza of Beridde (a sweet focaccia filled by raisin). Later you can taste the fried cod fillet. After a stop at Campo de' Fiori square, where you will eat different kinds of cheese and salami, the tour will continue by visiting the fantastic Navona Square, considered one of the best Baroque sites in Rome, and it will end by taking a special artisanal gelato! These delicious tastings will be completed by a visit to the wonderful Church of St. Louis of France, where we will discover the fantastic paintings by Caravaggio.
Theater of Marcellus (outside) Boccione (Jewish bakery) Campo de Fiori Square (the market is open from Monday to Saturday morning) Norcineria Viola (salami and cheese) Navona Square (Gelato) Supplizio (supplì) Church of St. Louis of France Pantheon from the inside The tasting includes: 1 supplì or 1 slice of pizza, 1 ice cream, 1 pasta dish, 1 drink per person, cheese tasting, cookie tasting. I can customize this tour according to your requests. In case of allergies please let me know. In the museums, in the archaeological sites and in general in all the Roman churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below the knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas) on tour because they are not permitted in the Vatican Museums and in the Colosseum. WHAT TO BRING: A healthy appetite Comfortable walking shoes High expectations
