Ciao! My name is Romina, I am a licensed guide with a degree in Ancient Greek and Roman archaeology...

This is a tour UP and Down! Come with me and visit the 1900s years old archaeological site called The City of Water, which is 30 feet under the street level near Trevi Fountain and It hides remains of dwellings and water cisterns. It's an engaging, quiet and evocative place while up above people overcrowd one of the most famous fountains in the world. Then We will visit the ruins of the Domitian's Stadium (declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site) located at a level of 15 feet under Piazza Navon and discovered 100 years ago. The Stadium is dated back to the I cent A. D and the archaeological area is what is left of the first and only example of a masonry ancient stadium in Rome. As the last but not the least We will make our way to The Saint Clemente's Basilica, where we go down 30 feet to reach the 1st century A. D level yet up above there are 2 further more recent and visible layers. Several buildings have been built one on top of the other: a shrine, a public building, dwellings and a church.
Saint Clemente's Basilica with underground Transfer from Saint Clemente's Basilica to Trevi Fountain by taxi (cost is on you) Navona Square and Domitian's Stadium Trevi Fountain and The city of water (closed on Mondays) -If you want to walk from the Basilica of San Clemente to the Trevi Fountain, I can add 1 hour to the tour and we can see the Colosseum and the Forum from the outside. -The itinerary can be customized to your preferences. -The itinerary could be on the reverse according to time slot tickets. -Please bring a copy of your passport (paper copy or photo on your phone), the tickets are nominal and a copy of your documents must be show. -In the museums, in the archaeological sites, and in general in all the Roman churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas…) on tour because they are not permitted.
