Overview of your Rome tour:

Being a guide of Rome for me, is like a neverending journey!! We will start this journey from the Church of Saint Mary of the People (in the amazing neoclassical style Piazza del Popolo), where Raphael designed the Chapel commissioned by the rich banker Agostino Chigi. After a brief stop for a coffee, we'll walk to the Pantheon, Temple of all Gods, today a Church, were the artist was buried. On the way, a brief visit in the Church of St. Augustine with a fresco representing the Prophet Isaiah and soon after, crossing the beutiful Baroque Navona Square we'll reach the Santa Maria della Pace Church were you can admire the Sibille's fresco decorating the Cappella Chigi inside the Church. During the visit in the Churches mentioned, you can also admire some amaziong oil canvas of "Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio" master of the baroque period! I love sharing the beauties of my city with my guests and let them discover the must-see sites but also these hidden gems of Roman Renaissance.

Your Rome tour itinerary

3, 5 Hours Tour around the works of Raphael: Piazza del Popolo Santa Maria del Popolo Sant'Agostino Church Pantheon also from inside Navona Square Santa Maria della Pace Church and Chigi Chapel NOTE The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests and I can customize this tour adding: - the visit to Villa Farnesina and Trastevere (plus entrance tickets to the Villa and 2 extra hours) - the visit to the Vatican Museums with the Raphael Rooms (in this case you have to consider 3 or 4 extra hours on top of this tour according to the tickets availability of the Vatican Museum); Generally in all the Roman historical monuments and churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas…).
