Half-day walking tour - Art, History and Food

Let's have a walk through the Aventine Hill and Testaccio district where I have grown up! The Aventine Hill, one of the seven ancient hills of Rome, is located in front of the Circus Maximus. Upon it, within the beautiful residential area, are incredible jewels: ancient churches, gardens such as the Garden of Oranges, a peaceful park adorned with orange trees and offering beautiful views over the city. Diverging from that tranquillity, the Testaccio is one of the oldest and most chaotic quarters of Rome. Famous for its nightlife and good restaurants, during the day you can smell the authentic Romanità, roman lifestyle. Well known is its food market, where we will stop for tasting local food. Testaccio is also the neighborhood where the city's beloved team, AS Roma, had their first football pitch and where the ancient roman stored marble to sell or to use for their buildings.
