We will make our way to Tuscany close to the town of Montepulciano. Upon arrival we will have a guided tour through a unique vineyard nestled in an enchanted estate and the cellars whilst learning about all its history. Following you will be served a fine 3 course meal prepared by a true Tuscan chef (all organic own grown products) whilst enjoying the selection of 5 award winning wines. After luncheon we will make our way into the renaissance town of Pienza for some breathtaking views into the world famous Val d' Orcia countryside (where the movie "the gladiator" was filmed) and a little shopping of local authentic goods the town is packed with. I will unveil all the history this gem is rich of since the medieval times. Finally we will be en-route back to Rome in time for dinner (if you have any space left!) . This Tuscany day trip offers a truly authentic Italian experience that will leave you hankering for Tuscany long after you've returned home!
Private van tour with english speaking driver. - Direct pick up from your hotel by private chauffeur and drive to the winery estate close to the town of Montepulciano - approximately 2. 5 hours - Inclusive of one resting stop on the highway. - Estate tour + cellar tour with the estate's own sommelier - 3 course meal - wine tasting are all the activities that will take place by the winery. - 30 min drive to reach the town of Pienza where we will go for a walking tour into this renaissance gem where you can enjoy a little time for souvenirs shopping. - We will then make our way back into Rome inclusive of one resting stop. - Final drop off at your hotel.
