Half Day Rome Tour of Christian Rome and catacombs - With Driver

This tour has been designed to discover the first centuries of Christianity in half a day and in a very comfortable way. Meet your expert guide and your driver at the hotel. We'll discover how the martyrs sowed the seeds for the future development of the Christian religion in Rome, which quickly gained followers over the prevailing paganism until the conversion of Emperor Constantine (IV century AD). We'll visit the Church of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome and the Sanctuary of the Holy Stairs (where the most important relics are kept). Then it's on to another papal basilica, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and also known as the Snow Queen, because of the miracle of its construction (no spoilers. . . you'll find out during the tour). To round off this intense experience, we'll visit a catacomb on the Via Appia: The Catacomb of St. Sebastian or Calixtus, depending on the opening day. The driver will drop you back to the hotel, or wherever you prefer in the city center.
