Freshly nourished, we will wonder on to have a stroll along the banks of the Arno, a hidden place with beautiful views. Ice cream might sound perfect at this moment and then we segue into another museum for a bit of mind-blowingly beautiful art. Then I would want to take you for aperitivo to a gorgeous garden. This list of possibilities is simply a taste of what a day with me could be like. Starting in the central Republic Square we walk through the medieval city learning about its history, architecture and art.
What makes this tour unique is that we wind our way off the beaten path, to see aspects of the city that are often overlooked or hidden in place sight.
Approaching the north side of the Duomo, aka Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, we proceed to the Accademia where, in a purposely made hall, Michelangelo's original statue of David is housed together with other stunning works by the same artist.

We'll trace the evolution of Italian painting through a magnificent selection of artists that range from the Gothic master Giotto and continue on through the apex of the Renaissance with Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Botticelli and other extraordinary artists.

After we will head over to the Accademia, to see one of the greatest masterpiece of the genius of Michelangelo, the David, as well as some others of his works.
