I’ll explain how the eruption preserved the city, giving us a unique glimpse into Roman life. - Next, we’ll explore key archaeological sites. We’ll begin at the Forum, the vibrant center of Pompeii where important buildings and temples once stood. - We’ll visit the Basilica, which served as an ancient courthouse and meeting hall, and then wander through residential areas like the House of the Faun and the House of the Vettii, where you can admire beautiful frescoes, mosaics, and private gardens. - We’ll check out the public baths, which were central to Roman social life, and visit ancient bakeries and shops to understand how Pompeians lived and worked.
