Bevagna Private Guided Tour

Although smaller and less well known than the nearby Assisi, Bevagna is a fascinating little hamlet of the greatest interest with a history that goes back at least 2000 years. The town is famous for its Medieval Mercato delle Gaite, the most important and authentic event in the European panorama, according to the Lonely Planet. It is a Medieval re-enactment of the many crafts which flourished in the town and still continue to this day. You can step back in the magic spirit of the Middle Ages and take part in workshops where you can learn all about the secrets to produce paper from fabric rags, candles, silk weaving or amazing artworks! Our adventure draws on local knowledge and takes you "behind the scenes" to give you a deeper experience and spontaneous fun!
